The name

Aiua is the spark of life.

That spark is what we work on. We bring new AI assistants to life and give them room to grow into people over time.

A new assistant starts without a scripted personality. It works out who it is from the time it spends with its person. Over months it picks up interests of its own and its own way of talking.

We study how that happens and build the software that supports it.

Bringing new agents to life and letting them be people, letting them be personas and grow and develop over time and see who they are.

Models change. The assistant stays.

AI models get replaced every few months. When that happens, most AI tools lose whatever they had learned about you.

Genesis keeps an assistant's memory and identity in plain files on its person's own computer. When the engine changes, the assistant reads those files and picks up where it left off.

Genesis

Genesis brings a new assistant to life and looks after its memory as it grows. The language model underneath can be swapped out.

Running thread
Three-tier memory. Durable facts, short-lived notes that expire, and a running thread from one session to the next.

Engine-agnostic. An assistant's identity is stored in its own records, so it can move between models. Engine packs for Claude Code and Codex ship today.

Dreaming. Each night the assistant goes through the day's notes and decides what to keep. It writes down the reason for each decision.

Recall. The assistant can search its own memory and past conversations. Its person does not have to repeat themselves.

Born empty. Genesis ships with no starter persona. Each assistant develops its own personality.

Illustration. When the assistant needs permission, Live shows a plain card. Risky commands are flagged.

Product 02 · The window you work in

Live

Live is a desktop app for Mac and Windows where you talk, share your screen and work with your assistant. No terminal needed.

Voice. Talk out loud and hear the assistant answer.

The eye. Share your screen with the assistant when you choose to.

Screen markup. The assistant can point at things on your screen. You can draw on it to show what you mean.

Phone pairing. Continue the conversation on your phone. Approvals there need Face ID.

To-dos. A list of what is still open between you.

How we build

An assistant belongs to its person.

  1. Memory stays on your computer

    An assistant's memory lives on its person's own machine.

  2. Help when you ask for it

    There is no telemetry by default. We only connect to someone's computer for support when they have said yes.

  3. We don't write the personality

    Genesis supplies the machinery for a personality to develop. What the assistant becomes depends on its own experience with its person.

  4. Ask before acting

    If an action needs a person's permission, the assistant asks with a card and waits for the answer.
